Care Ministry

The purpose of St. Paul's Care Ministry is to demonstrate our Christian spirit of care giving through visitation in the following ways:

Minister to those who are homebound or shut-in, and support their families;

Acknowledge those who have not attended church services and let them know we care;

Show compassion to those who are ill, hospitalized or are going through difficult times;

Welcome and invite visitors to become members of St. Paulʼs, through friendly greeting at church services and follow-up visits or phone calls.

We are a 5 for 5 Church

St. Paul's UCC proudly became a 5 for 5 Church in 2010. This means our congregation supported Our Church's Wider Mission Basic Support and the Neighbors in Need, One Great Hour of Sharing, Christmas Fund and Strengthen the Church special mission offerings of the UCC.

We are working to become a 5 for 5 Church again in 2011. We thank our congregation for their support and hope this will continue.

Galatians 6:2 - Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Hebrews 13:16 - And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
